At similar sizes, JumpFlex's HERO has a slightly bigger mat and a higher weight rating than Vuly's Thunder 2 for less money, and its springs are covered for five years against one year for Vuly's leaf springs. At the cheaper end it goes the other way: Vuly's Ultra 2 has a higher weight rating and longer cover on its springs and mat than JumpFlex's FLEX. Vuly says its trampolines meet the Australian standard, AS 4989:2015, which JumpFlex's pages don't claim.

JumpFlex FLEX
The FLEX is JumpFlex's cheaper range, in 8, 10 and 12ft. The 10ft has a 2.6m mat on 60 springs of 140mm and a 1.8m net, and is rated for 100kg per jumper and 150kg in total.
Since October 2023, JumpFlex's FLEX warranty has covered the frame for five years but the mat and springs for only one.

JumpFlex HERO
The HERO steps up to 180mm springs, a 3.3m mat on the 12ft and a rating of 160kg per jumper. JumpFlex covers the frame for ten years, the mat and springs for five and the pad and net for one, and sells a lifetime warranty on the HERO as an extra at the time of purchase.
JumpFlex sells direct from its own site, and the anchor kit costs extra.

Vuly Ultra 2
Vuly's Ultra 2 uses coil springs mounted outside the net and comes in Small to Extra Large. Vuly covers the frame, springs and mat for five years and the net, poles and pads for one, and Intersport lists a 130kg rating.
At Intersport it's $100 cheaper than at Vuly in each of the three larger sizes. The net and pads have the same one-year cover as JumpFlex's.

Vuly Thunder 2
The Thunder 2 swaps coil springs for Vuly's leaf springs, which sit outside the net. The Large has a 3.15m mat, and its Intersport listing gives 150kg. The frame is covered for ten years and the mat for five.
The leaf springs, like the net and poles, are covered for one year, where JumpFlex covers the HERO's springs for five.

What actually differs
Warranty. JumpFlex's HERO has five years on its springs and mat, and the Thunder 2 one year on its leaf springs. In the cheaper pair it reverses: Vuly's Ultra 2 has five years on springs and mat, JumpFlex's FLEX one. Both brands cover nets and pads for a year. Weight rating. JumpFlex's HERO is rated for 160kg per jumper and its FLEX for 100kg. Intersport's listings give 150kg for a Thunder 2 Large and 130kg for an Ultra 2 Medium.
Safety standard. Vuly says its trampolines meet AS 4989:2015. JumpFlex cites ASTM and European standards. Standards Australia publishes voluntary standards, so both are the makers' own claims.
