Home Muse is free to read and paid for by affiliate commission.
What that means
Many of the retailers linked from this site run affiliate programs. When you follow one of our links and buy something, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale. The price you pay is the same either way. On some programs we are paid for a qualifying click or a lead rather than a sale.
Links that earn us a commission are marked rel="sponsored" in the page's HTML, and every article carrying them shows a disclosure above the first one.
Which programs
As of September 2026, Home Muse participates in:
- Amazon Associates (amazon.com.au). Home Muse is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com.au and affiliated sites.
- eBay Partner Network (ebay.com.au)
- Commission Factory, covering around ninety Australian retailers
- Partnerize, including The Good Guys, Hoselink and Matt Blatt
- Impact, including Breville and Freedom
- Rakuten Advertising, including Temple & Webster
Programs come and go. Where one closes, the links that ran through it stop earning, and the affected pages are worked through and relinked.
What it does not change
Products are chosen on merit, and the best product for a job goes on the page whether or not a retailer pays us for the click. Where something we rate has no program behind it, we link the shop people actually buy it from as an ordinary link. How we research sets out how the picks are made.
