Some of what is on this site will be out of date, and some of it was wrong when it was written. This page says what happens then.
Telling us about a mistake
Email us through the contact page. Naming the article and quoting the sentence is enough. A link to a spec sheet or a retailer listing helps, but it is not needed.
What we do about it
A factual error is fixed as soon as it is confirmed: a wrong specification, a price band that no longer resembles the real price, a product credited with a feature it does not have, a link that lands somewhere other than the product. The page's updated date moves when that happens.
Where the fix changes a recommendation, a line at the top of the article says what changed and when. Smaller repairs are made without a note: a spelling, a dead link, a sentence rewritten to be clearer.
Pages stay up after a correction rather than quietly disappearing.
Dates on older articles
Every article shows when it was first published and, where they differ, when it was last updated. Both are always visible, including on older pages. A date that has not moved in three years is worth knowing about.
Older articles are worked through in order of how many people read them and how quickly the products in them change. A guide to something that is reissued every year needs attention sooner than one about a product that has not changed since 2019.
