Vacuum Comparisons: Dyson, Shark, Robot Vacuums and Floor Care

Most homes now choose between a cordless stick vacuum and a robot, or buy one of each. Stick vacuums differ mainly in suction, run time, weight and what the floor head does. Robot vacuums differ in what their dock does, how low they sit and how long the warranty runs.

Dyson and other stick vacuums

• Dyson stick vacuums compared: the current range from the V8 Cyclone to the V16 Piston Animal, and the PencilVac for hard floors. The V11 and V12 are no longer in Dyson's stick line-up or at The Good Guys.
