Fressko pride themself on producing simple and sustainable flasks and reusable cups.

Designed in Melbourne, their products are stylish, functional, and are constructed using 100% BPA-free materials.

There’s no doubt these products look great, but we were keen to see how they perform. Fressko kindly sent us a couple of products to take a look at.

Fressko Bino Reusable Coffee cup

Part of Fressko’s Cafe Collection, the Bino is an 8oz (227ml) reusable coffee cup. For reference, this is the same as the small-sized paper cup found in most cafes – perfect for flat whites.

The cup itself is vacuum-sealed, which in our experience retains heat very well. Internal barista lines are marked at 4oz, 6oz and 8oz.

We really like the minimalist design and smooth lines of the Bino coffee cup, along with its scratch-resistant exterior.

We also appreciate the rubber base that keeps it in place and means it won’t damage whatever surface you place it on. It gives the cup a premium feel and makes it a pleasure to use.

Perhaps what really makes the Fressko Cafe Collection cups stand out from the competition is the spill-proof, lockable lid. We filled the cup with water and gave it a good shake while upside down and not a drop made its way out.

The lid is nice to drink from and doesn’t give off a plastic smell as is often reported with reusable coffee cups.

One potential downside of this lid is that because of its screw-in design, it may take a little more effort to remove and replace than cups that have a press-on style lid.

Overall, we’re big fans of the Fressko Bino. We think it would be great for day-to-day use but in particular for people who value the spill-proof design and insulating properties, such as those who drink coffee while travelling.

Fressko Colour Collection Water Bottle

Fressko’s Colour Collection Water Bottles are stylish and versatile.

Perfect for tea or fruit infuses, simply remove the infuser and fill it with your favourite loose leaf tea or fruit and pour cold or hot water through the infuser into the bottle.

The infuser can be completely removed, making the Colour Collection Bottle also great for water, smoothies or coffee.

Like the Cafe Collection cups, this flask is light weight and has a scratch-proof exterior.

The leak-proof lid features a rubberised section for grip and a sleek, stainless steel cap. The simple design means this bottle would suit a wide range of functions, be that travel, study, or work.

The bottle is vacuum-sealed with a stainless steel inner. Fressko claims it can keep contents hot for 6 hours or cold for 12 hours.

We like the idea of using this as a tea infuser so filled it with some loose green tea leaves and added boiling water.

Opening periodically throughout the day, we found the flask did, in fact, keep the tea at drinking temperature up until around the 6-hour mark. Impressive!

We love the look of the Colour Collection bottle and found it easy to use and effective at keeping drinks hot for long periods. We’re looking forward to giving it a go as a regular water bottle.
